One October Midnight

Music by Brian and Erin Schey
Book and lyrics By Thom Bishop

A new musical play based on the grotesque, horrific and heart wrenching tales of Edgar Allan Poe. These timeless stories play out night after night, age after age in haunted Baltimore where Poe's conflicted spirit still toils in the shadows. Musically inspired by the romantic era nocturnes and preludes of Chopin and Rachmaninoff, this series of gothic vignettes explore the dark elements of the writer's vision as he uncovers and confronts the forces of his own imagination.
